Tray Butler – Co-Owner & Lead Climbing Arborist
Tray Butler is a co-owner and lead climbing arborist of Butler Tree Service Ltd., bringing years of hands-on experience in urban forestry and tree care. Before launching the business, Tray worked for more than three years as an arborist and forestry bucket truck operator for the City of Belleville, where he honed his skills in tree removal, trimming and hazard assessment.
Passionate about tree health and safety, Tray takes pride in providing reliable and environmentally responsible services to homeowners, businesses, municipalities and First Nations communities. His commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction makes Butler Tree Service Ltd. a trusted name in the community.
When he is not up in the canopy, Tray enjoys spending time in the garage working on restoring old trucks, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dawson Tracey – Climbing Arborist
Dawson Tracey is a skilled climbing arborist with seven years of experience in the tree care industry. He completed his training through the Arboriculture (Co-op) program at Fleming College’s School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences and is certified by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development.
A former decorated motocross racer, Dawson brings the same athleticism, work ethic, and drive for excellence to his career in arboriculture. His wealth of knowledge, technical skills, and shared values with Butler Tree Service Ltd. have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.
When he’s not scaling trees, Dawson can be found spending time with family and friends or enjoying the outdoors while hunting and fishing.

Brittany McBeath – Co-Owner & Director
Brittany McBeath is a co-owner of Butler Tree Service Ltd., managing administrative operations and business strategy. She is a Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawk) woman of mixed ancestry with roots in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
An award-winning Indigenous scholar and PhD Candidate, Brittany brings a unique perspective to the company, blending environmental stewardship with a vision for sustainable growth. She envisions expanding Butler Tree Service Ltd. to include mass tree planting projects, and community-engaged research opportunities, furthering the company’s impact on both the environment and local community.
When she’s not managing business administrative operations, Brittany enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
